New York Forged-Brass Back Plate

Our tailored New York back plate has a timeless appeal. Whether your style is Victorian, Craftsman, or Mid-Century modern, this spare, beveled design will fit right in. While the originals were typically made of stamped brass or copper, this heavy-duty reproduction is forged from solid brass. At 2 1/4" wide, it works on both pre-drilled doors or vintage mortise locks.

How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.
