Wood Storm Window and Window Screen Hardware
In the "good old days", window screen and wood storm window hardware was simple and effective. Storm windows and screens were made of wood, snugly fitted within the exterior window frame and painted a contrasting trim color. Mounted with steel window screen hangers, the panels were changed seasonally by simply lifting off and replacing. Butterfly clips held screens tightly in place, while adjustable stays allowed storms to open.
