Solid Brass Twist Door Bell in Antique Brass

Stylized flowers and scrollwork in the French manner decorate this ornate mechanical doorbell. Based on a Russell & Erwin original from 1893, it makes a delightful ring-a-ling sound when turned. Beautifully cast from solid brass, it comes in a period antique finish.

The bell & mounting plate together measure 4 7/8" tall x 3 5/8" wide. The exterior turn piece measures 2 7/8" tall x 1 5/8" wide. This door bell fits doors up to 2 1/4" in thickness. Spindle may be cut to desired length.

The turn mounts on the outside of the door and the bell mounts on the inside. A hole must be drilled through the door to allow the spindle to connect the turn with the bell.
