This sturdy, barrel style transom latch is made of heavy-duty cast brass, polished and lacquered. The shaft is spring-loaded for vertical installation and keeps the window tightly fastened.
This latch is typically installed at the top of the window sash and operated with a pull chain or pole-mounted transom hook (use transom chains to keep the sash from falling open).
