The lock is activated from the inside by the bow-shaped thumb turn. The latch bolt is held in place by the included strike or dummy mortise case (for double doors - purchase separately). An emergency release button on the exterior allows the door to be unlocked with a common screwdriver.

The thickness of your pocket door must be greater than the sum of the mortise depth measurements for two pulls plus the thickness of the lock case.
