The lock is activated from outside by a standard key and from inside by the thumb-turn. When locked, the latch bolt is held in place by the included strike or dummy mortise case (for double doors - purchase separately).

Dimensions: 7 7/8" H x 2 23/64" W x 5/64" thick. Mortise: 23/64" deep. Lock case: 3 21/32" D x 6" H x 11/16" W. Faceplate: 8" H x 1" W. Backset: 2 3/4". Standard Door Thickness: 1 3/4". The thickness of your pocket door must be greater than the sum of the mortise depth measurements for two pulls plus the thickness of the lock case.
