Description
A pivoting door between the dining room and kitchen is one of the most charming and practical features of vintage homes! This old-fashioned double acting floor hinge allows your door to swing up to 116 degrees in each direction, and stop open at 88 and 116 degrees. The spring tension is easily adjusted to regulate the closing speed. A top pivot and a pair of plated steel plates, designed to cover the hinge cut-out at the base of your door, are included.
This heavy-duty hinge is designed for doors between 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" thick, with a maximum weight of 70 lbs.
Dimensions. Floor bracket: 3 1/2" L x 2 7/8" W. Door cut out: 7 3/4" W x 1 1/2" H. Cover plates: 10 1/2" W x 2 1/2" H.
