This non-standard tubular passage latch with 2 3/4-inch backset is designed for use with antique or reproduction door knobs that utilize a square spindle. Dimensions: 2 3/4" backset. Latch housing: 15/16" D x 3 9/16" L. Faceplate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. Strike plate: 2 1/4" H x 1 7/8" W. Sized to use a 5/16" spindle.
