1 3/4" Backset Mortise Privacy Bolt in Solid Brass

Our 1 3/4-Inch Mortise Privacy Bolt provides added privacy or security for a variety of applications. Made of solid brass and classically styled with a pressed oval escutcheon and cast knob, it is easy to install and operate. Ideal for light doors, screen doors or cabinets, choose from a host of popular finishes.

Oval escutcheon: 1 3/4" H x 7/8" W.
Knob: 1" Projection from the door surface.
Barrel: 2 1/2" L x 9/16" Diameter.
Strike plate: 1 3/4" H x 7/8" W.
Fastener/s: M3-20 x 5/8" wood screws.

A mortise door bolt has a barrel that is mortised into the edge of the door. The thumbturn is surface mounted to the door and the spindle goes through the door and the barrel.
