How to Place an Order
There are two easy ways to order from us.
- Online Checkout - Try our easy 5-step online checkout process. It's secure and a copy of your order will be instantly delivered to the email address you provide. Online orders require credit/debit cards to purchase.
- Order by Phone – Expert hardware specialists are available to answer your questions or help you choose the right piece to complement your home. Call us at (503) 231-4089 or toll-free at (888) 223-2545 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time. We accept credit/debit cards, money orders, checks and international money orders.

Credit Cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards. A credit or debit card may be used for all online purchases. Credit or debit card orders typically ship within 1-2 business days.
Checks or Money Orders
We also accept money orders, personal checks and international money orders. Please call (888) 223-2545 Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time to place this type of order. Order processing times apply:
Money orders – Typically ship within 1 to 2 business days.
Personal checks – May be held for up to 10 business days prior to shipping.
International postal money orders – Typically ship within 1 to 2 business days.
Discount Policy
Under certain circumstances, House of Antique Hardware offers special terms and discounted pricing. These include a trade discount to contractors, remodelers, designers and other restoration professionals. From time to time, we welcome new customers with a one-time discount on their first order.
It is our policy that only one discount may be used per order and that discounts may not be combined. Please note that a discount may be accompanied by special conditions.
In the event an order is placed and multiple discounts have been used by the customer, we reserve the right to honor only the single highest discount and to charge the account accordingly. We will make the adjustment and email a revised sales order showing the difference in cost.

How to Use the Shopping Cart
When you find an item you want to purchase, add it to your cart by clicking the red "Add to Cart" button located on every page that describes items in detail. When you've added all the items to your cart that you want to purchase, proceed through the checkout process.
To view items that are already in your shopping cart, click on the "View Cart" link located at the top of every page.
Items Stay in Your Cart Until You Remove Them
For your convenience, our shopping cart keeps all items in it until you choose to remove them. This allows you to shop without worrying that your selections will disappear when you log out. When it's time to purchase, please review your cart carefully. Items that were added to your cart in the past will still be there when you check out.
To remove an item in the cart, go to "View Cart." Click on the remove "x" at the right side of the page.
Items Numbers May Change When Added to Cart
Item numbers for products may change when items are added to your shopping cart. Don't be alarmed if the item number on the description page doesn't match the item number in your shopping cart. If the names of the products match exactly, then you have the same item in your cart. Please check carefully to make sure that both the item description and finish option are correct.
Similarly, our website searching system works best if you search by the name of the item rather than by the item number. Our search engine will always find a product by name but will often be unable to identify items by number.
How to Check Out
Add the items you want to purchase to your cart. (To find your cart, click on "View Cart" at the top of any page).
Click the red "Proceed to Checkout" button.
If you're a new customer, click the "Continue" button under the New Customer heading to proceed with your order.
Note: You'll be given the option to "Save Your Information for Later Use", which creates an account with us. We don't require account setup but strongly encourage it because of the benefits it provides. You'll be able to check your order status online, track shipments and store information for later orders. Rest assured that you will never be contacted without permission except about current orders. Your privacy is assured, and your trust is highly valued.
Enter your payment information and click "Continue".
Note: If you wish to pay by check or money order, call (888) 223-2545 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time. Only credit or debit card orders can be placed online.
Review your shipping options, your billing and shipping address and the items in your order before clicking the "Submit Order" button. Once the order is submitted, changes can only be made by calling (888) 223-2545 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time.
Note: Your order will only be placed when you've clicked on the "Submit Order" button. An order confirmation will be sent immediately to the email address you provided.

We're not a faceless online company. Real people answer our phones and our hardware experts have decades of experience specializing in antique and reproduction hardware. If you need help selecting hardware, have installation questions or are looking for an elusive piece, give us a call. Shipping Options
We charge UPS published rates for shipping within the United States with Ground, 2nd Day and Next Day service options.
We also ship to Canada and most other international destinations at discounted UPS published international rates with Worldwide Express (1 to 3 days transit) service. This shipping option includes the cost of brokerage fees necessary to clear customs but does not include other taxes and duties that may apply.
