Description

2 1/4" backset privacy mortise lock with solid brass faceplate available in 2 finishes. The faceplate measures 6" tall by 1" wide and 3/16" thick. The cast iron case measures 3 3/4" high, 2 7/8" deep and 3/4" thick. The brass strike plate measures 4 1/2" tall by 1" wide with a 5/8" tongue projection. The hub for the thumbturn is oriented on the square and the center to center distance between the door knob hub and the thumbturn hub is 2 1/2". This lock is fully reversible for left or right hand doors.
