Plain and simple door bells like this were commonly installed at the "tradesman" entrance to Victorian homes. A twist of the handle would announce your visitor with a sprightly ring. Our reproduction bell is made of stamped & brass-plated steel, just like the 19th century originals.
The bell measures 3" in diameter. The exterior lever plate measures 3 3/4" tall x 1 3/4" wide. This door bell will work on doors measuring between 1 3/8" and 2 1/4" in thickness.
The turn mounts on the outside of the door and the bell mounts on the inside. A hole must be drilled through the door to allow the spindle to connect the turn with the bell. Learn about hardware >
