Surface mounted, it's easy to install - no drilling or boring required (includes a decorative surface strike and a plain mortise strike). The latch features a handy privacy lock, which is great for keeping in pets & small children! Reproduced in solid brass with your choice of two classic finishes. This set is designed to be mounted on the inside of wood screen doors from 7/8" - 1 3/8" in thickness that open outward. The backset is 2 11/16". Dimensions: Exterior backplate - 2 7/8" H x 1 1/4" W. Interior lock body - 2 1/4" H x 3 1/2" W. Levers - 2 3/4" L.
