Description

This austere and authentic rim lock set is perfectly suited to colonial or Federal style interiors. The plain case is enameled cast iron, with all brass interior parts. The small round knobs, keyhole cover and rosette are heavy, cast brass, which is not lacquered to allow for natural aging (or may be kept bright by occasional polishing). Includes two large brass keys.

Lock body: 4 13/16" W x 3 3/16" H x 3/4" Thick. Keeper: 3/4" W x 3 3/16" H x 3/4" Thick. Knobs: 1 7/8" Diameter. Rosette: 1 7/8" Diameter. Keyhole Cover: 1 1/8" W x 2 1/2" H. Backset: 3 7/8".

This lock set is installed on the inside of the room and is handed left or right. To determine handing, stand outside the room facing the door. If the hinges are on the left, you need a left hand lock. If the hinges are on the right, you need a right hand lock. The left hand lock is pictured. This lock is designed for use on inswing doors only. Please call if you need help determining the correct handing for your door.
