Description

This massive, cast-iron rimlock is faithfully reproduced from an early 19th century original. Ideal for entry or large interior doors, it comes with matching brass knobs, trim and a pair of impressive skeleton keys. The heavy duty iron case features all brass internal parts, a key-operated deadbolt and sliding privacy latch (privacy latch can not be disengaged from outside the room).

Lock body: 7 1/4" W x 5 1/8" H x 1 3/16" Thick. Keeper: 1 1/2" W x 5 1/8" H x 1 3/16" Thick. Backset: 4 5/8". Knobs: 1 7/8" diameter. Rosette: 1 7/8" diameter.

This lock set is installed on the inside of the room and is handed left or right. To determine handing, stand outside the room and note hinge placement. If the hinges are on the left, you need a left hand lock. If the hinges are on the right, you need a right hand lock. The right hand lock is pictured. Please call if you need help determining the correct handing for your door.
