Yale & Towne featured this lovely colonial revival door set, known as "Lydian", in their 1910 hardware catalog. While virtually every manufacturer at the turn of the century offered a beaded oval design, the elegant flourish of acanthus leaves sets this one apart. Originally offered in bronze or plated steel, our modern reproduction is beautifully crafted from solid forged brass. Door set dimensions: Oval brass knobs measure 2 5/16" H x 1 7/16" W. Back plates measure 7" H x 2 5/8" W.
Latch dimensions: Backset: 2 3/8" (non-standard 2 3/4" backset available; call for details). Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.

Latch and lock - This set has a privacy pin next to the knob which is pushed to lock and pulled to unlock. The door can also be unlocked from the outside by pushing a small screwdriver through the emergency release hole. Typically found on bedroom or bathroom doors.
