Description

Formal Edwardian style blends with modern compact fluorescent technology in this dashing brass sconce. Custom designed for Fort Worden in Washington State around 1900, this handsome fixture is equally at home beside your fireplace or vanity. A UL damp rating makes this a splendid choice for your covered porch, as well. Offered in three period finishes: unlacquered bright brass, antique brass, and polished nickel.

Fixture requires one 3 1/4" fitter shade.

The oval canopy measures 6 1/8" tall by 4 1/4" wide. The height without shade is 7 1/2", add shade height to get total. The projection to center of socket is 5", add 1/2 of shade width to get total projection. Some smaller shades will not work with this fixture. Shade must be at least 6" in height for the bulb to fit inside.

This fixture has a hardwired G24q type socket and electronic ballast designed only for 13W 4 pin compact fluorescent bulbs. The bulb is included and has close to the same light output as a regular 75 Watt incandescent bulb. Higher wattages are available but may require a different shade selection, call for info.

Hardware Tip:
Pin type compact fluorescent fixtures are the most efficient since they have a hardwired electronic ballast. Replacement bulbs however, must always be the same type and wattage. Learn about hardware >
