The original Kreuzinger Lion knobs, patented by Russell & Erwin in 1870, are among the most prized and valuable doorknobs ever manufactured in this country. Monumental in scale, exquisite in detail, the effect is at once dramatic and marvelous. These knobs have been lovingly reproduced via a lost wax casting, then hand-finished with an authentic antique patina.
Dimensions. Knobs: 2 7/8" diameter. Shank: 11/16" diameter, drilled for a 16 TPI spindle. Spindle: 4 3/8" L x 9/32". Includes set screws and an Allen wrench for mounting knobs to spindle.
Hardware Tip:
How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette. Learn about hardware >
