Our authentic New England strap hinge with whimsical whale-tail tip, hand hammered edge, and 300 lb. rating is the perfect combination of charm, strength and durability. This very heavy duty hinge is ideal for large or thick entry doors, garages, barns and gates. Solid forged iron is zinc and acrylic powder coated for weather protection and maintenance-free enjoyment. Tough 1/4" x 3" powder coated stainless steel square head lag screws are included.
Available in two strap lengths: 30" and 36". Both sizes measure 3" wide at the knuckle and 5/16" in thickness. The hinge pad measures 6" tall x 3 3/4" wide, with a 1 1/16" barrel and 5/8" loose pin. When installed as a surface mounted hinge, the overall length of the 30" hinge is 32 3/4" (including the pad & barrel), while the 36" hinge is 38 3/4" (including the pad & barrel).
