This dazzling door bell reveals the eclectic side of Victorian design. An exuberant mix of Eastlake, Baroque and Neo-Grec elements, it's a wonderful choice for most any late 19th century home. The bell is finely cast using the lost wax method, and produces a classic "ring-a-ling!" when turned. The brass is left unlacquered and will gradually darken, just like the Victorian originals.
The bell & mounting plate together measure 5 3/8" tall x 3 3/4" wide. The exterior turn piece measures 2 1/2" in diameter. This door bell fits doors measuring between 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" in thickness.
The turn mounts on the outside of the door and the bell mounts on the inside. A hole must be drilled through the door to allow the spindle to connect the turn with the bell. Learn about hardware >
