Victorian sophistication and rustic charm combine in this phenomenal elk-head chandelier, designed by Gibson Gas Works, circa 1890. Originally commissioned by the Elks Lodge as a gas-electric light, popular demand inspired its re-issue as an electric-only fixture around the turn of the century. From the life-like antlers to the whimsical pocket watch pendant (set to 11:00!), this fixture is brimming with exquisite sculptural detail. Beautifully cast in solid brass with an antique patina finish. Creates a spectacular effect, when paired with the matching double sconce.
Fixture without shades measures approximately 44" in height and 20" wide. The canopy is 5" in diameter. The socket center diameter is 17", add height of one 2 1/4" fitter shade to get total diameter.
For an authentic period lighting effect, use our genuine Edison-style bulbs in your fixture. These carbon filament bulbs are great for exposed sockets and cast a warm, mellow light. Learn about hardware >
