This aging solution is designed for creating an antique patina on unlacquered brass and bronze metals, 8 fluid oz. bottle. Items with a lacquered finish must first be stripped with a lacquer thinner before aging. Once the desired patina is achieved with the aging solution it is recommended that the finish be preserved by applying either a spray lacquer, beeswax or common household furniture polish to the surface.
