Our authentic Connecticut style shutter hinges are easy to install and maintain. The straight straps are mounted on simple, L-shaped lag bolt pintels that drive directly into the wooden window surround or masonry. These versatile hinges have a 2 3/16" offset and an adjustable throw, which works with a variety of window styles. This set of four hinges (enough for one window) is made of heavy duty stainless steel with a smooth black powder coat.
Dimensions. Strap: 5 1/4" L overall (from center of pintel), 4 1/4" L (portion attached to shutter). Thickness: 3/32". Offset: 2 3/16" (from back of strap to center of pintel). Pintel: 4 1/2" L x 3/8".
For best performance and to prevent rust, iron and steel hardware should be regularly maintained. After installation check for scratches or chips in the surface and re-coat periodically as needed. Learn about hardware >
