Reading Hardware designed this delightful, double-keyhole escutcheon around 1885. The whimsical Aesthetic pattern, originally known as "Windsor", is covered in stylized flowers, waves and bamboo. Designed to fit a double keyed entry lock, it also works with most interior mortise locks (the swinging cover hides the unused keyhole). Lost wax cast from solid brass and hand-finished with a lacquered antique patina. Complete the look with the matching Windsor pattern knobs! (R-01AA-ZB-37K-PR or R-01AA-ZB-38K-PR).
Dimensions: 8 1/2" H x 2 1/4" W. Inside collar diameter: 3/4". Center to center spacing of upper keyhole to knob collar: 2 1/4". Center to center spacing of lower keyhole to knob collar: 3 5/8".
How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette. Learn about hardware >
