Standard steel fire door clinch cut nails available in 3 different lengths. These standard square nails are not hardened and can be clinched. These nails are popular for use in fabricating laminated fire doors, clapboard siding, face-nailing wide board flooring and wood fences. There are approximately 158 nails per pound for 2" (6d), 100 for the 2 1/2" (8d) and 55 for the 3" (10d). Also available are rust-resistant Hot-Dip Galvanized nails, call for details.
Hardware Tip:
Square or cut nails are very durable and have been used for over 200 years. They are hard to pull out because their shape causes the wood fibers to push downward and wedge against the nails. Learn about hardware >
