Pair of Oval Lion Face Door Knobs In Antique Brass

These grimacing lion door knobs could have come straight from an Italian palazzo! Designed by P. & F. Corbin in 1900, this Renaissance Revival pattern was originally known as "Pavia". Beautifully detailed and wonderfully dramatic, it's considered the crème de la crème of American Renaissance hardware. Reproduced via a lost wax casting with a hand-applied antique finish. Pair them with the matching Pavia pattern back plates (R-01AA-ZLW-189) for a complete and authentic Renaissance Revival style door set.

Please note these knobs mount to the spindle on the square and will not work with lock hubs on the diamond. Dimensions. Knobs: 2 7/8" H x 2" W. Shank: 11/16" diameter, drilled for a 16 TPI spindle. Spindle: 4 3/8" L x 9/32". Includes set screws and an Allen wrench for mounting knobs to spindle.
